Karina’s Mexican Seafood, Chula Vista

So, I ended up in San Diego the day before my birthday. I’ve traveled enough that I can enjoy myself anywhere, but, I was fortunate that I have a cousin who lives here whole she studies at the University and she wanted to take me out. This is after she flew from the East coast and properly tired, no less. This is how love is shown.

She chose Karina’s Mexican Seafood, and what a good choice. People forget, like India, Mexico is large and has many regions, and the coasts of Mexico have some of the best seafood you can find. Karina’s tries to show you that.

I’ll admit, we were not too adventurous with our choices; I’m sure being tired had something to do with it, but we shared the Surf & Turf Quesadillas (Shrimp/Steak), she had the Mango Sashimi, and I had the Enchiladas Verdes. It was all exquisite.
