Ok, I find myself back in Portland, Oregon. The cafe I went to last time didn’t have the space and ambiance that I favor, so I needed to find something more suitable. Enter Never Coffee Lab. Cozy, cute, minimal, and yet still, some flair. A quarter of one wall looks like it was painted with a giant palette knife with appealing results. It had the feel of the best cafes in New York, London, and Chicago, with people sitting close together, but in their own worlds.
