Stumbled on another place that can have my money; The Bungalow! Right here in Downtown Santa Monica at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel and Bungalows.
If you’re walking on Ocean Avenue towards Wilshire, you’ll miss it because it is behind nicely manicured bushes, but inside, what a lovely spot.
It has the eclectic vibe that I always enjoy at places that serve food and drinks with a DJ.
Yes, the vibe. The Bungalow is the kind of spot where everyone looks like somebody when you walk in. The seating is comfortable and the staff must be treated well because they were so happy and generous with their time. Try the Purple Haze (Hendricks Gin, lavender syrup, lemon juice, and St. Germaine) and Nachos. The best nachos ever. This is my new favorite spot, so stay tuned for a future post. Cheers!
