So, here’s my criteria for hotels; does it have windows that open and/or a balcony. Next is that I have certain expectations for breakfast. I like hotels with proper restaurants because they usually have a breakfast buffet as well as the order from the menu option. But yes, air. I like fresh air, and it’s amazing how hard I have to find for it, haha. Anyway, Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines is standard Hilton fare, which is all I require! From what I observed, all rooms have balcony’s that look out to the pool. We border the golf course, too, for all the golf heads out there. The breakfast was nice. The eggs from the buffet looked good, so I had some of those, but my server told me that I could also order from the menu and it counts towards the buffet, so I ordered an omelette as well. I arrived the night before so I didn’t get a good look at the grounds so I’ll have to come earlier next time.
