It’s my birthday! Usually a low key affair for me, but I’ve come a long way since I rarely celebrated for most of my life, but thanks to wonderful family and friends, I can say I feel loved. See, some of my goodies below. Thank you Khadijah, Nali, Dad, T, Lisa, and everyone who sent wishes. Love you ;)
My Aunt sent me this out of the blue when she texted me birthday wishes. This is 8th grade right after I got my first flattop cut.
So, my first meal of the day was this delicious egg sandwich from Monica Cafe in Santa Monica. I LOVE eggs, and I love them soft scrambled and velvety whenever possible.

I love my coffee too, but I love love cafes! I have favorite cafe in every city I’ve ever visited, and I am always looking for new ones. Couplet, is less than a year old and it’s in Santa Monica. I was taken by the lovely images painted all over. They also produce great coffee drinks and the staff are kind.

I was walking, smelling the roses, like I do, when I saw this young lady sitting curbside looking distressed.
I had to end the day with something sweet. Now my ultimate treat is a Cheesecake Brownie, but those are hard to find. But, cheesecake, ice cream, brownies, chocolate chip cookies, and donuts make me happy too.
