Hilton

Hotel | Hilton Garden Inn | Lehi, Utah

I love the Hilton Brand, but for a while I didn’t know how to feel about Hilton Garden Inn. In the past, I found them to be inconsistent from property to property, but that changed in the past two years when I believe a redesign and identity was established. I now know I can count on the Hilton Garden Inn for great breakfast, clean, minimal design, and wide open space. They also have full bars that are much appreciated by Road Warriors. As this is my first time in Utah, I was so happy to find a Hilton Garden Inn in Lehi that was in the middle of everything. I had the best room, and service. Can’t wait to come back.

So, let’s talk about a hotel. I love a classic hotel, and I love when a major brand takes over a classic and restores it to it’s original opulence. Whenever I am in Baton Rouge, I stay at the Hilton Downtown. This hotel is a classic, a blast from the past in the best way. When I walk in, I feel like I’ve entered someone’s finely manicured living room. You are surrounded by chairs, couches, and tables that evoke The Renaissance, with the most lovely chandelier above. The restaurant has a well rounded menu, and I for one have to brag about the 6oz Filet Mignon they serve; please try it if you eat red meat. But, let’s go up to the room. As I exit the elevator, there are lovely touches like classic rotary phones near the elevators. This time I had a room with a balcony that overlooks the river, if I can take my eyes off the stylish classic charm of my room. If you like old fashioned opulence, stay here; cheers.
